Job Description - Technical Product Owner (Scrum) Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner with strong Scrum and Agile delivery experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define product requirements, manage the product backlog, and drive successful delivery of technical solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable user stories. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the engineering team. Own and manage the product backlog , ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment with business goals. Lead Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Translate business requirements into detailed user stories , acceptance criteria, and technical specifications. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features. Partner with architects and technical leads to define system requirements , dependencies, and technical feasibility. Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvements based on KPIs and user insights. Ensure product decisions align with technology standards, scalability, and security best practices . Support release planning, sprint forecasting, and cross-team coordination. Communicate status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and leadership. Required Qualifications 3 years of experience as a Product Owner , Technical Product Owner , or similar role. Strong experience working in Scrum/Agile environments. Solid understanding of software development , system architecture, APIs, cloud technologies, and integration patterns. Proven ability to write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Experience collaborating with engineering teams in a technical capacity. Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Preferred Qualifications Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification. Experience with SDLC, DevOps practices, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Background in technical program management or software engineering is a plus.
