About the Role

What we're looking for: The Assistant Director: Point of Care product line will serve as a Senior Product Manager for the Point of Care product line will be responsible for incubating and driving the development and commercialization of new AI-enabled products with partners, as well as responsible for understanding customer needs and market intelligence, developing and testing proof points of value, and owning and driving hardened product development to market launch. The role will manage a staff team and external partner relationships and will be expected to distill and translate leadership’s direction to the product development team. The position reports to the Director: Innovation and Development. A successful candidate will be a seasoned self-starter, doer, and independent thinker.

Requirements

What you'll need: 1. BS/MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Business; MBA preferred 2. 5+ years relevant work experience in innovative product development and execution • 4+ years of recent continuous digital product management • 2+ years of product management experience in launching AI/ML-based products; working with leading AI vendors • 2+ years of professional experience with healthcare, or health technology products 3. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify unmet customer needs, develop product roadmaps, and implement new strategies; align customer use cases with technological solutions 4. Experience in managing strategic relationships with third-party vendors and partners 5. Experience managing and developing a product team 6. Demonstrated curiosity and drive for building bold products and great user experience 7. Skilled multi-tasker with ability to work through ambiguity 8. Business acumen, including the ability to create and track financial forecasts 9. Proven ability to influence stakeholders, executing product priorities and driving results while maintaining relationships; Strong interpersonal skills, oral, written, and listening communication skills with stakeholders; Adept at selling through compelling narratives 10. Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify the most important things amongst many important things; Good judgement 11. Solid understanding of Agile and Design Thinking methodologies for rapid product iteration and experimentation; Ability to design User Acceptance Testing plans 12. Mastery in researching, gathering, drafting, and translating requirements between stakeholders, design, content, and engineering counterparts 13. Ability to train internal departments on new product launches through documentation and demos 14. Ability to assess ongoing product performance and enhancement opportunities 15. Onsite (hybrid) in Oak Brook, IL preferred; Ability to work in Central time and demonstrated reliability working remotely required for non-local candidates 16. Up to 25% travel to client/partner locations and to Oak Brook, IL office if remote
