Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position. POSITION OVERVIEW As a Senior Product Owner your roles and responsibilities will include: Manage the software product backlog consisting primarily of features, stories, and product defects to ensure that the work defined for the development team is meaningful to the customer, yet realistic and attainable. Balance candidate scope items via prioritization in collaboration with the cross-functional core team. Consider risk factors that could affect scope, schedule, and/or resources, and inform adequate contingency plans for potential issues. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Software Delivery Leads, and Core Team Members to manage portfolio scoping, coordinate release activities, and partner for value delivery. QUALIFICATIONS Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior Product Owner who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Senior Product Owner would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following: In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles; experience working in Lean/Agile software development teams Experience using product management and development operations tools such as Aha!, Azure DevOps, or Jira Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills We understand that even if you are a seasoned Senior Product Owner you may not have all the skills listed here.
