We invite you to thrive in this essential position! As a Senior Principal Product Manager in the Compute division, you will lead the development and strategy of our Compute products. Your role will involve directly engaging with customers to understand their needs, formulating innovative solutions, and guiding products from initial concept to market launch. In this leadership position, you will significantly influence our product strategy and portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Engage with key customers to identify their requirements and deliver creative solutions. Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for Compute offerings, setting clear roadmaps for the next 18 months and 3 years. Establish pricing strategies for Compute hardware products, and manage cost modeling scenarios with confidence. Oversee the launch of new Compute hardware products while demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of product management through the entire lifecycle. Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and solve problems collaboratively. Lead go-to-market initiatives, including product positioning, gathering customer testimonials, and promoting products internally and externally. Provide demos, training, and support for customers to ensure success. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends. Drive initiatives to analyze product adoption and identify opportunities for improvement. Create valuable content to enhance customer success. Measure and manage customer experience and business performance effectively. Proactively identify and resolve potential risks that could impede project timelines. Engage and influence executive leadership independently. Act as a knowledgeable advocate for OCI Compute products, representing Oracle at industry conferences and customer engagements. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 10 years of hardware product management experience, particularly in planning and launching hardware offerings; experience at a leading cloud provider is advantageous. Proven track record in new product introduction with multiple successful hardware product launches. In-depth knowledge of hardware platforms, familiar with offerings from key vendors such as AMD, Intel, Nvidia, and Ampere. Solid understanding of L6 and L11 bill of materials, along with expertise in processors, memory, and SSD components. Knowledgeable in thermal and cooling systems, capable of discussing various industry methods. Client-facing and problem-solving experience within a dynamic environment. Technically proficient, with the ability to translate customer needs into feature definitions and functionalities. Compensation and Benefits: Range of compensation for U.S. positions is between $115,400 and $251,600 annually, with opportunities for bonuses, equity, and compensation deferrals.
