Product Manager Intern

Job Description POSITION PURPOSE SCRAM Systems is seeking a Product Management Intern to support our product team during the Summer 2026 internship program. This role will focus on data analysis, customer research, and building product insights dashboards to help improve how we understand customer usage and satisfaction across our software products. The intern will contribute to initiatives that support SCRAM Systems' software roadmap and customer experience strategy, including analyzing product usage trends and assisting with our annual Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Voice of Customer research programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES Analyze product usage and engagement data to identify trends in feature adoption, workflow completion, and customer behavior. Create reports and visualizations to help product managers evaluate product performance and prioritize roadmap improvements. Support the development of product metrics such as feature adoption, retention, and user engagement. Assist in designing and implementing a product insights dashboard to track usage of key product features. Research and evaluate industry tools used for product usage analytics, such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Pendo, Heap, and similar platforms. Work with product and engineering teams to identify key data sources and metrics for dashboard reporting. Support the design and deployment of a Voice of Customer research study across SCRAM Systems products. Assist in collecting qualitative insights through interviews, surveys, and feedback analysis. Contribute to the analysis of feedback to identify customer pain points, feature requests, and usability improvements. Assist with SCRAM Systems' annual Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey and related customer satisfaction initiatives. Research industry standards and benchmarks for NPS, CSAT, and other customer experience metrics. Analyze NPS survey results to identify trends, promoters, passives, and detractors. Summarize findings to support product and customer success teams in improving customer experience. Conduct research on emerging trends in customer experience measurement, product analytics, and product-led growth. Document best practices in: Customer satisfaction measurement (NPS, CSAT, CES) Product usage analytics Voice of Customer programs Customer feedback loops Present recommendations to the product team on how insights could improve product decision-making. Experience and Skills QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and entering Junior or Senior year. Majoring in Business, Product Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with spreadsheets and data analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills Interest in software products, customer experience, and data-driven product strategy. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker). Familiarity with product analytics platforms or dashboard tools. Coursework or experience in market research, customer insights, or product management.
