Product Owner OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION:The Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritizing product requirements that align with business goals and customer needs. This role acts as the liaison between stakeholders and the Agile development team, ensuring that the team delivers maximum value in accordance with organizational objectives. SCOPE OF WORK: Own and manage the product backlog; define and prioritize user stories, features, and epics. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories. Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring delivered functionality meets business expectations. Define acceptance criteria and validate deliverables against those criteria. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives. Make scope and priority decisions in real-time during development iterations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (UX, QA, DevOps, Compliance) to ensure product readiness. Analyze product performance and customer feedback to iterate and improve the product. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product releases and enhancements. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. 5–7 years of experience in product management or business analysis in a technology environment. 3 years in an Agile/Scrum Product Owner role. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred. Strong understanding of Agile development practices and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and prioritization skills.
